MyGiggR.com has been a long time coming! This project sprung from a ASP-based web application called "Gig Manager" that I built for Mariachi Cardenal De Stanford in 1998 or thereabouts. Not long after that, I envisioned expanding that original application for use by other groups.

Since that first crude version, the state of web development has evolved considerably. Even so, it has been used year after year by Mariachi Cardenal, serving faithfully even in it's old age. But, even so, it was time for a major overhaul of Gig Manager...and MyGiggr.com was born.

This site is built with ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 and makes extensive use of the wonderful jQuery JavaScript library throughout the site. We are currently being hosted at DiscountASP.net.
